We found Nimalie on snowy mountainside near Dharamsala, just as the afternoon sun bathed the scenery from horizon to horizon. When we expressed our concerned she told us she had nowhere else to go and no shade area to rest under. The glacial run off had forced her to climb to higher ground, exposing her directly to the sun's harsh rays. She was very relieved when we offered our help. |

| Hobbies: | Writing. From poetry to bedtime stories, even short plays, Nimalie is a talented writer. She also loves making snowcastles and inventing different characters. |
| Like and dislikes: | Nimalie loves animals, nature and sweets. Her favorite thing of all is kulfi. She dislikes coconuts and tomato soup. Tomato soup made her cry once. |
| Special skills: | Memorizing fables and legends. Nimalie can recite mystical stories to perfection. |
| Dreams and goals: | Nimalie dreams of performing in an orchestra. Any instrument really, though she has recently discovered a particular fondness for percussion instruments. |

Nimalie is a talented artist and a daydreamer. Her gentle and caring nature and storytelling skill has helped her make lots of friends at the orphanage. She also loves to help Bilou make desserts to share with everyone. She teaches snow painting to other snowmen and would be a wonderful addition to a loving artistic family. |
