Leon

Date of birth:
January 2nd, 2007
Place of origin: Sundsvall, Sweden
Family: Deceased after a Glacier breakage fall

We found Leon at the tip of the Salajekna glacier, hanging on for dear life. The only thing preventing his fatal fall was his shirt catching on a sharp piece of ice. His family had just fallen and it was already too late when we arrived. Using a ladder and rope, our volunteers pulled Leon back onto stable ice. Later, we brought him with us to the orphanage to administer the proper care.

Hobbies: Leon is a natural at arts and crafts and has recently taken up cooking cuisines from all over the world. He loves to carve pumpkins and melons!

Like and dislikes: Leon loves pumpkin milkshakes. His favorite time of year is Halloween and he always insists on taking the other snowmen trick or treating. He loves cold oatmeal with lots of brown sugar. Although he told us he's afraid of spiders, he was quick to say he doesn't dislike them.

Special skills: Making balloon animals! Leon decorated the entire orphanage with balloon animals native to Antarctica for Moineau’s birthday. It was typical of the great attention to detail he gives everything he does.

Dreams and goals: To have his own pumpkin patch and give everyone free pumpkins each holiday season.

Orphanage notes:
Leon is such a fun little character. He always welcomes us with a big laugh in the morning and insists on helping us cook breakfast for the orphanage. He just loves spending time with humans. He likes to listen to our stories and is curious about our way of life. Leon is excited at the thought of being adopted and can't wait to start making new friends.
