Hi everyone!
I'm Sunny. Like the sun. I was born in Canada in the cold region of Nunavut...well it's not as cold anymore. Lately there have been losses in the snowmen population and lots of villages are facing dire situations. Sea levels are rising and the change in weather also affects hunting season and the food people there rely on.
On a brighter note, since I was rescued I've been able to focus my energy on becoming an astronomer and helping the environment. I love the sun, (even though it's risky for me), and one day I would like to be able to look at it without melting. I'm a very friendly snowman and I love all the games human kids like to play. If I could be any other species, I would like to be a human. (Especially if I get my own telescope.)
I am so excited to be part of this great project, working with human kids to help heal our planet! All donations from my adoptions go directly to Sunset Elementary's greening efforts. The money will be used for projects like installing solar panels, planting an organic garden, energy efficient light bulbs, and maybe even a passive ventilation system!
