Hi folks!

I'm Benny the snowman and it feels great to be a part of this green movement! As a singer/songwriter, I think it's important we all stand for something. And believe me, GAIA Culture is taking a stand and doing great work. Did you know that for every two dollars donated they plant a native tree in the rainforest? Amazing.

I know, the rainforests are a loooong way from where I was born, (Chicago). So why are they important to a snowman like me? Well first of all did you know that the world's rainforests make 40 percent of our oxygen? They also form a cooling band of lush greenery around the earth's equator - the hottest part of our planet. So not only do they help us breathe, they help keep us cool! And let me tell ya, keeping cool is top priority when you're made almost entirely of snow.

Hmm... I think there's a new song in there somewhere - "This Rainforest was made for you and meeeee......" Oh, sorry... I get carried away sometimes. Putting my guitar down now...

Anyway, like I was saying, I'm so excited to be part of GAIA Culture's efforts to preserve and restore the Rainforest. If enough concerned people speak out and do their part, our climate and planet will be safe for people, polar bears, and snowmen for a long, long time.
